Executive Summary: HRUCKUS is looking for an experienced System Applications Support Specialist III – Supply Chain to serve as a key technical and functional resource supporting supply chain systems, focusing on system administration, user support, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
Position Description: The specialist will manage system security, lead system integrations and implementations, provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and extract data for business decision-making while mentoring junior team members.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage system security and user access controls in alignment with organizational policies
- Lead system integrations, testing, and implementation of new applications, upgrades, and enhancements
- Provide end-user support and training for supply chain systems; develop documentation and training materials
- Troubleshoot system issues, resolve or escalate as appropriate, and ensure timely resolution
- Support and lead system implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives
- Participate in and lead medium- to long-term departmental projects
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and system workflows
- Maintain and oversee supply chain product and vendor databases
- Develop and execute queries to extract data and generate actionable insights for business decision-making
- Identify automation opportunities and recommend system enhancements to improve efficiency and data integrity
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members (Level I & II)
- Lead project efforts, including testing enhancements, analyzing outcomes, and ensuring successful delivery
- Contribute to solution design, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment
- Adhere to physical requirements: lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, perform tasks requiring frequent reaching, grasping, and fine motor skills
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain Management, Finance, Information Systems, or related field)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in systems support, supply chain, or related functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Advanced experience with ERP systems
- Proven ability to build queries and perform data extraction and analysis
- Experience developing and utilizing KPIs to drive process improvement
- Knowledge of relational databases and system design structures
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools
- Solid understanding of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to navigate conflicting priorities
- Ability to lead projects and influence outcomes in a collaborative environment
