The HR Specialist is responsible for performing HR-related duties and providing administrative support to the Director of Human Resources by handling information requests, managing confidential and time sensitive matters and performing administrative functions in addition, the HR Specialist is responsible for assisting with employee engagement events and initiatives as needed. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processes all new hire hourly offer letters, prepares new hire packet and administers ensuring completeness on all forms.
- Oversees all iCIMS data maintenance, trouble shooting, & monitoring of employment iFORMS.
- Responsible for onboarding all staff and administering appropriate training needed including Title 31, Harassment training.
- Responsible for wage & status changes, and termination documents.
- Assist in the employment application intake.
- Assists in scheduling and teaching Team Members Orientation.
- Assist in the execution of Team Member events.
- Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Ability to listen to employee concerns and notify the right personnel.
- Maintain a strict level of confidentiality concerning all employee data and problems.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Thorough knowledge of all State and Federal employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

- Strong organizational, administrative, proofreading and grammatical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated; organized.
- Possess strong ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Trustworthy; possess high integrity and maintains confidentiality of both verbal and written communications.
- Detail oriented.
- Minimum age requirement is 21.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
3 Years of related education or experience in Human Resources field.
Pay Range
USD $22.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
