The Accounting Manager will serve as a key member of the Accounting & Finance team, overseeing the full cycle of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.
This position ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), corporate policies, taxation requirements, and both internal and external audit standards.
The role is responsible for managing the monthly close process, maintaining accurate financial ledgers, and preparing reports that support timely and reliable financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and communicate cash flow related issues. This includes the accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial statements for the company: cash flow statements, management of receivables, payables, cash balances, control mechanisms and timely deposits of all funds.
- Creates annual budgets and monthly variance analysis. Investigates and critiques variances to budget or to prior year and offer practical improvement methodologies to management.
- Successful completion of all internal and external financial audits, including coordination of work with CPA firms and delivering information requested by auditors on a timely basis.
- Report responsibility - Weekly: A/R & A/P Aging, Flash Reports, Payroll Reports, Revenue Updates / Monthly: Financial Statements, Forecasting Key Statistics Report, Cash Flow / Annual: Budgets, 5-Year Plans, 5-Year Capital Plans
- Oversee all accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting activities to ensure accurate daily transaction recording, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with full ownership of the financial ledgers and sub-ledgers.
- Supervise a team of accountants and senior accountants to ensure accuracy and compliance in all accounting operations.
- Lead the reconciliation of major balance sheet accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory valuation.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and accounting manuals to promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and team efficiency.
- Mentor, train, and develop junior accounting staff to build a high-performing team.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of progressive accounting experience with multiple divisions.
- Demonstrated success in managing audits, month-end close, and cross-functional financial operations
