Job Description & Responsibilities
· Maintain and regularly update firm’s website by, among other things, coordinating with firm attorneys to gather and develop content.
· Manage and regularly update firm’s social media presence and facilitate and coordinate social media posts by firm attorneys.
· Monitor website traffic/online analytics, report to management on a monthly basis, and work with management to enhance firm’s online presence.
· Prepare and regularly update firm, practice area, and attorney marketing materials.
· Assist firm attorneys with the publication and wide circulation of legal alerts and firm news items (lawyers joining the firm, significant cases and outcomes, speaking engagements, publications, etc.).
· Organize and widely publicize firm receptions, webinars, and speaking engagements in coordination with firm attorneys.
· Assist firm attorneys and practice areas with submitting applications for chambers and other professional rankings.
· Support firm attorneys with client pitch materials and business development efforts.
· Liaise with firm’s outside marketing consultant.
· Help devise, and support firm management and attorneys with respect to strategic marketing plans and business development initiatives.
· Report to firm’s Managing Partner and work with firm management, partners, and other lawyers on marketing tasks, as described above.
· Communicate with management, partners and other firm lawyers, as well as clients and potential clients in a courteous, timely, and professional manner.
Additional Responsibilities
· Prepare monthly billing invoices for four or five assigned attorneys.
· Provide occasional administrative support to assigned attorneys, as requested.
Job Qualifications
· College degree with strong academic credentials.
· Prior marketing experience in the service industry required. Prior experience working as a marketing professional at a law firm is helpful but not required.
· Excellent writing and communication skills.
· Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
· High level of responsibility and initiative required.
· Strong and effective team player in working with firm management, partners, other lawyers, and staff.
· Computer and internet proficiency.
· Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, including Word, SharePoint, and Outlook.
Wage and Benefits
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
