Position Overview
The Product Manager – Industrial & Automation will drive product strategy, market positioning, and lifecycle management for advanced automation and power solutions.
This role combines technical expertise and strategic business leadership, working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and global leadership teams to deliver innovative products that meet evolving market needs.
The successful candidate will act as the voice of the customer, shaping product roadmaps, supporting go-to-market strategies, and expanding the company's presence across North America.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Market Development
- Define product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for industrial automation and power electronics solutions.
- Identify market trends, customer requirements, and competitive positioning to guide product development.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive adoption and revenue growth.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and executive leadership teams to align product strategy with business goals.
- Act as the internal product champion, ensuring teams understand product value and market positioning.
- Support product launches, training initiatives, and customer engagement activities.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Engage with key customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders to gather insights and validate product direction.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences.
- Provide strategic guidance to sales teams to support complex technical opportunities.
Business & Performance Management
- Develop business cases, pricing strategies, and revenue forecasts.
- Monitor product performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet growth targets.
- Support continuous improvement and innovation within the product portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
- 5–15 years of experience in product management within industrial automation, power electronics, or related sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Power electronics (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC converters)
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- PLC programming and industrial automation
- SCADA and control systems
- Thermal management technologies
- Experience with product management and project tools such as:
- MS Project
- JIRA
- SAP
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
