What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Coordinator/Generalist position at HR Works?
Our HR Strategic Placements Division is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator/Generalist to support our client onsite in Syracuse, NY. This role will begin as part-time (approximately 20 hours/week) with the potential to grow into a full-time, interim position. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and a strong foundation in HR administrative support functions.
Position Details:
- Location: Onsite/hybrid, Syracuse, NY
- Schedule: 2-3 days/week, up to 20 hours/week
- Provide HR administrative support
- Maintain employee files
- Conduct stay and exit interviews
- Assist with recruitment and new hire onboarding
- ADP employee maintenance
- Proven experience in HR, preferably in a generalist or HR administrative capacity
- Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving priorities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to professionalism and confidentiality
- Experience with ADP WFN
