Role Description
We are seeking a Director of IT for a full-time, on-site position based in Warren, NJ. In this role, you will lead and oversee the company’s IT operations, strategies, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities include managing IT systems, developing and implementing IT strategies, ensuring network security, and delivering innovative technology solutions that support business objectives. The Director of IT will also be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals and ensuring compliance with technology standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in IT Management and IT Operations, including experience overseeing IT infrastructures and managing technology teams.
- Strong knowledge of Information Technology and IT Strategy to align technology initiatives with organizational goals.
- Experience in Network Security, with the ability to implement and maintain secure IT systems and protocols.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills to guide a team and collaborate across departments effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree and certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
- Proficiency in assessing, selecting, and implementing emerging technologies and aligning them with business objectives.
- Experience managing IT budgets and vendor relationships.
- Knowledge of compliance regulations related to data security and privacy is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to develop and manage business continuity plans and IT disaster recovery.
