Job Summary
As an Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. Your leadership will guide a dedicated team in providing exceptional care to individuals, particularly those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s, and dementia. You will be at the forefront of managing care plans, overseeing daily operations, and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and residents.
What you’ll do
- Lead and supervise a team to deliver high-quality care in assisted living, nursing homes, and retirement facilities.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident.
- Manage daily operations including budgeting, medication administration, and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents with various conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer’s.
- Provide training and support to staff on best practices in senior care and memory care techniques.
- Foster a positive community atmosphere by engaging residents in activities that promote social interaction and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and operational procedures to ensure transparency and accountability.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes or group homes.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams in a healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with operations management and financial acumen related to budgeting and resource allocation.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized memory care.
- Background in social work or nursing is highly desirable.
- Certification in medication administration or related healthcare certifications.
