You’re energized by meaningful patient interaction and take pride in creating positive experiences for individuals, children, and families.Other qualifications include:Current State of Washington Dental Assistant Registration1 years’ experience in Orthodontic Assisting (Preferred)Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal communication skills to work effectively with patients, parents, doctors, and clinic staffHealthcare BLS and WISHA trainings (Preferred)Ability to pass a pre-employment professional references check What You’ll Do: As an Orthodontic Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our clinical team, working chairside with doctors to deliver outstanding care and build lasting relationships with patients.A typical day will consist of:Preparing patients for appointments by welcoming, soothing and seatingAssisting chairside during orthodontic proceduresPlacing and removing orthodontic brackets and bandsTaking digital x-rays and clinical photographsPerforming intraoral scanning (Invisalign) and bonding of attachmentsSterilizing instruments and maintaining operatory cleanlinessCommunicating with patients and families about treatment and oral hygieneCollaborating with doctors and team members to provide exceptional careJoin a team where passion meets purpose and where your work truly makes a difference.
