Key Details:
- Pay: $30 – $38/hour, depending on experience
- Location: 900 SW 5th Avenue, Portland, OR
- Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday with a hybrid schedule: 2 days/week onsite, including Wednesdays)

Who You Are:
You’re a proactive, organized, and tech savvy legal assistant who thrives in a collaborative environment. You’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities, communicating with a wide range of people, and supporting attorneys with precision and professionalism.
Qualifications Include:
- 2 years of experience in a law firm setting (litigation preferred)
- Proficiency in preparing, proofreading, and e-filing pleadings
- Familiarity with Oregon and Washington court rules
- Strong skills in docketing, calendaring, and managing legal correspondence
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Comfort with high-volume email communication and client interaction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
What You’ll Do:
As a Legal Assistant, you’ll support two busy attorneys by managing the day-to-day flow of litigation work. You’ll play a key role in keeping cases on track and ensuring attorneys can focus on high level strategy.
Responsibilities Include:
- Drafting, formatting, and e-filing pleadings and legal documents
- Docketing deadlines and managing attorney calendars
- Organizing and maintaining case files and correspondence
- Assisting with trial preparation, including exhibits and document organization
- Communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Supporting attorneys with administrative and legal tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned
