SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-13: To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Demonstrated highly proficient skills in Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, and other automated tools, systems, and applications to create reports, implement concepts, and apply standard operating procedures in support of organizational processes and operational requirements.
- Performed sensitive and confidential administrative support work and independently planned, coordinated, and executed written correspondence, senior leader calendar management, travel coordination, procurement activities, and records management functions in accordance with organizational procedures and established guidelines.
- Researched and evaluated alternative approaches by analyzing competing priorities, available resources, and organizational constraints, and developed briefings and decision-support documents for senior leaders that synthesized complex information from multiple sources and presented clear, actionable recommendations.
- Applied sound judgment in professional settings to assess complex situations, support informed decision-making, and implement modifications to address operational and organizational requirements.
- Demonstrated highly proficient oral and written communication skills by providing authoritative guidance, coordinating comprehensive presentations, and developing and recommending administrative procedures and change-management initiatives to improve organizational performance and operational effectiveness.
- Coordinated initiatives across organizational and functional areas by aligning organizational objectives, implementing process improvements, and supporting operational activities that enhanced efficiency and program outcomes.

Responsibilities:
The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.- The incumbent serves as principal staff assistant and primary point of contact for the assigned executive office, independently managing a broad range of administrative and executive support functions involving sensitive and confidential matters.
- The incumbent exercises delegated authority in controlling and coordinating the executive's calendar, evaluating requests for meetings and engagements, and ensuring alignment of the executive's time with organizational priorities.
- The incumbent researches and resolves issues not requiring direct executive action and ensures appropriate disposition of requests.
- The incumbent manages internal and external communications, screens calls and correspondence, and reviews incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with established policies and protocols.
- The incumbent prepares and coordinates executive briefing materials, ensures appropriate review and clearance, attends meetings as required, prepares summaries of discussions and decisions, and tracks follow-up actions to ensure completion of commitments.
Salary : $121,785
