The Office Leasing Analyst serves as a critical analytical and operational resource within the Office team, supporting the brokers and the partners in the pursuit, execution, and management of office leasing assignments. This role blends rigorous market research, financial modeling, and client-facing deliverable production to drive leasing velocity across the firm’s office portfolio. The Analyst is expected to develop deep submarket expertise, maintain institutional-quality data systems, and contribute to business development efforts through thoughtful analysis and professional communication. This role is designed as a launching pad for a career in commercial real estate brokerage. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Track and analyze Austin office submarket fundamentals including vacancy rates, absorption trends, rental rate movements, new construction pipelines, and tenant migration patterns
- Build and maintain lease analysis models including net effective rent calculations, tenant improvement amortization schedules, and landlord cash flow projections
- Create polished pitch materials for new business pursuits, including property marketing packages, leasing proposals, and RFP responses
- Research prospective clients and ownership groups to identify new leasing assignment and property management opportunities
- Maintain CRM records and pipeline tracking, ensuring all prospect interactions and deal milestones are accurately logged
- Assist the Office Group in the preparation of quarterly and annual market reports with submarket narratives, data visualizations, and trend analysis for internal use and client distribution
- Coordinate internally across all aspects of the company including senior leadership, leasing, property management, accounting, and construction management
- Market spaces for lease
- Special projects as assigned
General Duties and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or current Senior, Finance/Real Estate focus preferred
- Experience in commercial real estate (internship or other professional tenure)
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of coursework relevant to Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, and Investments
- Strong skills with large language models
- Prior experience working with Excel, MS Outlook, PowerBI and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Able to work independently and think critically
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
