Role Description The Legal Secretary is a full-time, on-site role located in Great Falls, MT. This role supports attorneys by preparing and formatting legal documents, organizing case files, and managing correspondence with clients, courts, and other parties. Daily responsibilities include handling clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and mail management; maintaining calendars and deadlines; and scheduling meetings and appointments. The Legal Secretary will assist with requesting medical records, maintain organized records, and ensure that documents are properly stored and accessible. The role also involves coordinating with legal assistants and other staff to support efficient office operations and timely completion of legal work.
Qualifications
- Clerical Skills such as filing, data entry, document organization, and management of electronic and paper records.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional telephone and client interaction abilities.
- Comfort with standard office software; ability to learn new tools quickly.
- High level of accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Prior experience as a legal secretary or legal administrative professional is preferred but not required.
