What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP, Controller position at Hoxton Circle?
A multi-national manufacturer with 2,000 employees across US and international operations is looking for a Controller to take the reins of global accounting and financial reporting.
This isn't a back office role. You'll sit alongside the CFO as a genuine strategic partner, shaping long term financial direction, working directly with plant leaders on capital planning, and presenting to the Board and Finance Committee. You'll own global financial statements, statutory reporting, and the external audit relationship, while also getting hands on with manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and SQDCI performance across plants worldwide.
There's a real build here too. You'll lead ERP and SAP implementation, help shape the finance function's AI and technology roadmap, and build out the team for the future, recruiting, coaching, and developing the next generation of finance leaders.
What we're looking for:
- CPA or MBA required.
- 20 years of progressive financial leadership, with at least 10 years in senior finance roles.
- You've led multi-national finance organizations and consolidated multi-currency financials.
- Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred,
- Ideally SAP or similar ERP systems.
