Senior Tax Associate | High-Net-Worth Wealth Management | Richmond, VA | $80K-$100K
We're working with a well-established wealth management firm in Richmond, VA that serves high-net-worth clients across the Southeast and beyond. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add a Senior Tax Associate to their team.
This role sits at the intersection of tax and financial planning. You'll prepare and review individual, trust, gift, and pass-through entity returns, research complex tax issues, and work directly with advisors on estate planning, generational wealth transfer, Roth conversions, and charitable giving strategies. You'll also have real client contact, not just backroom prep work, and will mentor junior associates along the way.
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree and CPA or EA (or on track to get one within 6 months)
- At least 2 years of public accounting experience
- Comfort working closely with clients and communicating complex tax matters clearly
- Experience with estate and trust returns for high-net-worth individuals is a plus
- Familiarity with CCH Axcess, Bloomberg Income Tax Planner, or similar platforms is a plus
- CFP a bonus, not a requirement
