We're hiring on behalf of a leading full-service entertainment company that works at the intersection of music, culture, and technology, representing some of the most influential artists, athletes, and brands in the industry.
They're looking for a Royalties Associate Manager to join their Finance team and take real ownership over royalty accounting for an assigned artist and label roster. This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys the detail work behind the numbers, contracts, statements, recoupment schedules, and getting artists paid accurately and on time.
What you'll own:
π Royalty and joint venture statement prep and review across recorded music, distribution, and licensing
π Contract interpretation, applying rates, escalations, and deductions correctly
π Discrepancy research and resolution with artists, managers, and attorneys
π€ Close partnership with Business & Legal Affairs, Finance, and label operations
What they're looking for:
βοΈ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Music Business, or equivalent experience
βοΈ 3-5 years in royalty accounting, financial operations, or a related finance role, ideally in music, media, or entertainment
βοΈ Working knowledge of recording contracts, licensing agreements, and recoupment concepts
βοΈ Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas); royalty or ERP systems experience (Counterpoint, Vistex, or similar) a plus
