Fund Accounting Associate

A lean, fast-scaling SEC-registered private equity fund manager with several billion AUM across numerous closed-end funds is looking for a Fund Accounting Associate to grow with the team.

The firm invests in hard infrastructure assets at the intersection of renewable energy and long-term value creation, generating returns through operating cash flows and asset appreciation — not speculation. This is serious, institutional PE, and this role reflects that.

The Opportunity

This isn't a support role. From day one, the right candidate will have real ownership over core fund accounting functions across a portfolio of closed-end fund entities, working directly within a high-trust, high-output team and serving as a key liaison to the firm's third-party fund administrator.

For someone who wants to learn by doing — and be accountable for outcomes, not just tasks — this is the seat.

What You'll Own

• Full allocations cycle, start to finish
• Day-to-day liaison with the firm's third-party fund administrator (US Bank)
• Quarterly close support across fund entities
• Year-end audit support alongside the firm's auditor (Deloitte)
• Capital call and distribution processing
• Regulatory filings and annual tax reporting support
• Ad hoc projects as the team and platform scale

What They're Looking For

• Fund accounting experience OR audit/assurance public accounting firm experience service clients in Financial Services
• Comfort working in a lean environment where wearing multiple hats is the norm
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership over one's work
• Familiarity with closed-end fund structures a plus
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred, not required
