We’re Hiring: Payroll Coordinator (Onsite | NY)
Looking for a detail-oriented Payroll professional ready to step into a high-impact role supporting a growing, fast-paced organization in the construction & real estate services space. This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable company with several years of succes and growing in revenue, working alongside a collaborative finance team and supporting a workforce of 300 employees.
The Role
As Payroll Coordinator, you’ll own end-to-end payroll processing across a complex employee base including union, non-union, exempt, non-exempt, and certified payroll. You’ll be a key partner to Finance & HR, ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Process weekly & biweekly payroll for ~350 employees
- Manage union & certified payrolls
- Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll (NY & NJ) regulations
- Maintain payroll records & support audits
- Partner cross-functionally with HR & Finance
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in high-volume payroll environments
- Union payroll experience (highly preferred)
- Proficiency in ADP (required); Sage is a plus
- Knowledge of certified payroll reporting
- Strong attention to detail team-first mindset
