What is the role?
As a Client Manager in our Natural Resources division, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our U.S.-based clients. Working closely with producers, underwriters, and internal support teams, you will manage a portfolio of energy accounts, ensuring all aspects of coverage, renewals, claims, and policy servicing are handled with accuracy and efficiency. Your role is essential in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the insurance lifecycle.
What will you be doing?
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a designated book of energy clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.
- Attend client meetings (virtually or in person) as required.
Policy Servicing & Renewals
- Support the marketing team throughout the full renewal process including gathering underwriting information, reviewing quotes, and helping to prepare proposals.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, invoicing, and audits in a timely and accurate manner.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain complete and accurate client files within the EPIC agency management system
- Ensure all documentation complies with industry and regulatory standards.
Claims Support
- Act as a liaison between clients and claims adjusters to ensure smooth claims handling.
- Monitor claims status and update clients on progress.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with producers, account executives, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in training, process improvement, and departmental meetings.
What are we looking for?
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably within a brokerage environment
Licensing:
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (U.S. state-specific)
Skills:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment
- Self-motivated, action-oriented, strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and priority management
- Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Designations such as CIC, CISR, ARM, or equivalent.
- Experience with large commercial accounts.
- Familiarity with surplus lines and E&S markets.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected base salary range for this role is $85,000-$150,000; actual base salary will be determined based on factors including candidate experience and work location. This role is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
In addition to a competitive base salary, employees may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus, subject to performance and continued employment at the time of payout. All compensation is subject to applicable taxes and withholdings.
