Program Director - Adult Intensive Services
Provide operational, programmatic and clinical leadership and supervision for Adult Intensive Services including residential and community-based services. As a senior leader, the Program Director maintains community stakeholder relationships and guides program policy to support the needs of clients, staff, and programs in our system of care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent programming and service delivery for adults who are diagnosed with major and prolonged mental illness
- Manage teams and programs within Adult Intensive Services including direct supervision, meeting facilitation, hiring, performance management and the employee lifecycle, ensuring adequate staffing and the proper allocation of limited resources
- Develop clinical competencies of staff aligning with best practice and client care
- Develop services to help clients develop skills and supports important to them
- Support system operations with an understanding of budget, contracts, compliance/regulations, and necessary performance outcomes
Requirements:
- Master’s degree
- Vermont clinical licensure in good standing and ability to supervise others toward licensure
- Driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle
- Five years combination of mental health and/or substance use direct experience
- Three years supervisory and management experience
- A strong understanding of clinical best practices for adults with major mental illness, co-occurring treatment, and trauma informed care.

- Exempt
- Starting at $88,538.22
