We are seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join our growing practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity for attorneys seeking meaningful litigation experience, professional development, and long-term career growth within an established firm.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, research, and writing skills, a commitment to excellent client service, and a desire to develop and refine their litigation and trial advocacy abilities.
We welcome applications from newly licensed attorneys as well as experienced litigators with up to seven years of practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and assist with litigation matters from initial case evaluation through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Participate in discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery, reviewing documents, and preparing for depositions.
- Assist with and participate in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals.
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff to develop effective case strategies.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Utah State Bar, or eligibility for admission.
- 0–7 years of litigation experience.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
- A proactive, professional approach to client representation and teamwork.
- A genuine interest in developing litigation and trial advocacy skills.
