Howard Industries Transformer Division is seeking an Executive Assistant for the Research and Development Division, reporting to the Vice President at the division’s general offices in Laurel, MS.
Job Duties:
- Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, and takes dictation
- Composes memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations
- Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors purchase
orders, invoices, and expense reports for a team of engineers
- Assist with compiling and developing the annual budget
- Other responsibilities will include filing, scheduling of meetings, distribution of incoming calls and correspondence, assistance in hosting customer visits, and other general office duties.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 additional years of experience in an administrative field).-Minimum of 1 year of administrative support experience.
