Role Description
The Men's Ministry Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site position based at the Loop Campus in Houston, TX, supporting the operations of the Men's Ministry at Houston's First Baptist Church-The Loop. Responsibilities include providing administrative assistance and clerical support to ministry leaders, managing schedules, maintaining records, coordinating events, and ensuring organized communication within the ministry. The role also involves responding to inquiries through professional phone etiquette and helping with day-to-day ministry needs, all while supporting the overarching mission and values of the church.
Qualifications
- Organizational and Administrative Skills, including Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills
- Strong interpersonal and Communication skills, including Phone Etiquette
- Experience in Executive Administrative Assistance or supporting leadership teams effectively
- Proficiency with office software and tools, including scheduling and record-keeping systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic setting
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and tasks
- Working knowledge or experience in ministry-related environments is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in administrative skills is advantageous
