The Department of Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics is seeking a faculty member who is passionate about teaching and mentoring students in a Christian work environment. - Plan, implement, and assess classroom experiences per university policy
- Academically advise and mentor students
- Serve on college and university committees
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
Candidates should have a Doctorate of Philosophy in Mathematics or a related field.
Other Qualifications Include
- Demonstrated teaching excellence and a willingness to use active learning techniques
- Evidence of scholarship, particularly scholarship related to teaching and learning and/or research that can be adapted to create projects suitable for undergraduates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using instructional technology
- Evidence of a willingness to serve students, the university, and the broader community
