Responsibilities:

• Conduct property tours and show available units
• Process rental applications and screening
• Market available units online and in person
• Maintain positive relationships with prospects and residents

Job Title: Make Ready Technician (Apartment Maintenance)

Location: Deer Park, TX

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Make Ready Technician to prepare apartment units for new residents. This role is responsible for ensuring vacant units are clean, functional, and move-in ready in a timely manner while also maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the property.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants (make-ready process)
• Perform basic maintenance tasks including painting, minor repairs, and fixture replacements
• Check and ensure all appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems are working properly
• Report any major repair needs to maintenance supervisor
• Assist with groundskeeping and general property upkeep as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the property
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance or make-ready experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
