We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Make Ready Technician to prepare apartment units for new residents. This role is responsible for ensuring vacant units are clean, functional, and move-in ready in a timely manner while also maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the property.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants (make-ready process)
- Perform basic maintenance tasks including painting, minor repairs, and fixture replacements
- Check and ensure all appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems are working properly
- Report any major repair needs to maintenance supervisor
- Assist with groundskeeping and general property upkeep as needed
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the property
- Previous maintenance or make-ready experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
