Job Information
Position starting pay: $33.05/hr. The initial review of applications will begin starting the week of October 13th, 2025. Applications received before the initial review date will be considered, with qualifying applicants being eligible to participate in the phone screen process.

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, performs project management activities associated with the acquisition, development and/or rehabilitation of affordable housing units or Housing Authority offices. Plans, executes, and finalizes projects according to strict deadlines and within budget; acquires resources and coordinates efforts of staff and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Day-to-Day Glimpse: The role of this position is to coordinate and administers rehabilitation work associated with properties owned by the Housing Authority. This includes the coordination of project activities including the hiring/managing of contractors, selecting and overseeing the contractor and their construction work, securing necessary permits, and ensuring construction activities and results comply with the construction contract and applicable funding source requirements. Additionally, this role is responsible for producing cost estimates, completion schedules, and project implementation budgets for the various projects being managed by the department, drafting contracts and other construction related real estate documents for review with legal counsel, monitoring project expense budgets, approving/processing project expenditures, and preparing reports and presentations.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope of work.
- Prepares complex scope of work for projects as requested.
- Assists in development of cost effective plan and schedule for completion of project following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.
- Coordinates and reviews work of design professionals, prime contractors and subcontractors working on various phases of the project.
- Oversees performance of all trade contractors and reviews plans to ensure that all specification and regulations are being followed.
- Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts.
- Tracks and controls construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and monies allocated.
- Manages project budget; tracks and reports hours/expenses on a weekly basis.
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
- Reports to Facilities Manager on progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.
- Performs additional duties as required.
