The Merrill Housing Authority is seeking a dedicated and dependable Building Operations team member to join our organization. Duties
· Perform routine cleaning of common areas, hallways, entryways, community spaces, laundry rooms, and office areas.
· Complete light maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, fixture replacements, and general upkeep.
· Assist with grounds maintenance, including snow removal, and seasonal tasks.
· Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
· Help prepare units for new tenants, including cleaning, painting, and basic repairs.
· Maintain supplies, equipment, and storage areas in an organized and safe manner.
· Collaborate with maintenance and administrative staff to ensure smooth building operations.
· Provide respectful, customer-focused service to tenants and visitors.
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in custodial, maintenance, or building operations preferred.
· Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing/walking.
· Basic knowledge of cleaning practices, light maintenance, and use of related tools/equipment.
· Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Pay: $42,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
