Family Assistant – Warm & Active Household

Location: Haverford, PA
Schedule: Monday - Friday 12pm - 6pm  Some Evenings/Weekends; Could also be 3-4 full days per week (30-35 hours/week)
Compensation: $40 - $50 depending on experience; possible health insurance 
Travel: Occasional (optional)

We’re a kind-hearted and busy family with three young children—two boys (ages 5 and 4) and toddler daughter (18 months), and a sweet Black Lab —and we’re looking for a dependable, energetic, and warm Family Assistant to join our team. The boys are in school full-time, and our daughter will be starting half-day Montessori in the fall.

Mom works part-time from home and is very hands-on with the kids, but could use an extra set of capable, proactive hands in the afternoons and occasionally on evenings or weekends. The ideal person for this role is someone who truly enjoys being around children, brings calm and positive energy into the home, and is equally comfortable jumping into household tasks as they are chasing after two playful boys in the backyard.

What You’ll Do:

Responsibilities Include:

• Engaging in active, hands-on play with our two playful boys

• Helping care for our toddler when mom’s with the older kids

• Light housekeeping—tidying up, kids’ laundry, prepping snacks

• Running errands like groceries, returns, and post office trips

• Being warm, responsive, and ready to travel with us occasionally
