Role Description
This full-time, on-site Therapist role is based in Salt Lake City, UT. The Therapist will provide individual and group counseling to women, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), experential modelities, motivational interviewing, etc. The role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in recovery and mental health management. Additionally, the Therapist will document progress and outcomes to ensure compliance with treatment goals and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methods such as CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy, and/or motivational interviewing
- Experience providing counseling, case management, and facilitating group therapy
- Strong skills in creating individualized treatment plans, documentation, and progress tracking
- Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment, trauma-informed care, and mental health support
- Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field with appropriate licensure required (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, CMHC)
- Experience working with women and children in recovery is a plus
- Ability to effectively manage caseloads and contribute to a supportive team environment
