What You’ll Do
- Help manage day-to-day aquarium retail operations
- Provide knowledgeable, friendly support to aquarium hobbyists and customers
- Oversee staff performing:
- Aquarium cleaning and maintenance (freshwater, planted, saltwater, reef)
- Monitoring and care of fish, plants, corals, and invertebrates
- Water testing, filtration maintenance, and feeding
- Ensure excellent livestock health and a clean, high-quality retail environment
- Occasionally assist with and participate in educational videos and social media content about fish, plants, corals, and aquarium care
What We’re Looking For
- Several years of personal aquarium-keeping experience (saltwater/reef/high-level freshwater planted highly preferred)
- Prior management or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of aquarium husbandry, livestock care, water chemistry, fish, aquatic plants, coraland invertebrate health and nutrition
- Strong customer service and team leadership skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work weekends (Sat 10–7, Sun 12–5)
