Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Opening Shift Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children during their formative years. This shift begins at 6:00 A.M, Monday-Friday. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives while working in a collaborative and dynamic setting.
Duties
- Supervise children closely to ensure their safety and well-being at all times, providing attentive child supervision throughout the day.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth through interactive activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and development activities.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and child development instruction techniques.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid training.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills to guide behavior effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with daycare center operations, including child supervision protocols and classroom experience.
- Ability to adapt activities for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children to support their developmental needs.
