What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Handler position at Hound Around Resort?
Hound Around Resort is looking for an energetic, passionate person to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for interacting and supervising dogs while maintaining cleanliness/sanitizing standards. Must be available to work mornings, nights, weekends and some holidays. MUST BE 17 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER!
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Managing groups of dogs in a free-play environment.
- Keeping play areas clean of waste.
- Preparing food.
- General playroom and kennel cleaning.
Qualifications
- Experience interacting, training, or supervising dogs.
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to provide a current record of tetanus booster.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Most importantly -- have a love for dogs!!!
