Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Silverware or Aloha POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including food preparation details and beverage options like wine and spirits
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment
Experience
- Previous food service experience in restaurants, cafes, or bars is highly preferred
- Experience with POS systems such as Silverware or Aloha POS is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining high-quality service
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive energy
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently
- Experience working in fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus
- Basic math skills for order totaling and change calculation are essential
