Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrician based in Chelmsford. The Electrician will be responsible for performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in commercial, industrial, and domestic settings. Daily tasks include troubleshooting electrical issues, inspecting existing systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Work includes social housing and schedule of rates (SOR) based works. Experience in both is desirable.

• £40,000 – £45,000 salary

Requirements

• Expertise in Electricity and Electrical Work
• Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Experience working in commercial, industrial, and domestic electrical environments
• Knowledge of electrical testing and certification processes
• Familiarity with safety standards, including NICEIC and other regulatory compliance
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Driving license and willingness to travel within the South East region
