We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and wants to grow with a company that’s making waves in the fitness industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Assist in developing and improving reconciliation, reporting, and review processes from the ground up
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as part of the monthly close
- Support financial statement preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Partner with AP/AR teams to resolve reconciliation issues and ensure accurate reporting
- Identify and investigate variances, errors, and unusual items, escalating as needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Purchasing, Operations, etc.) to resolve discrepancies and explain accounting impacts in clear terms
- Maintain schedules to support external audits and provide audit documentation as required
- Use Excel to analyze data, create schedules, and streamline reporting (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Support process improvement initiatives and help implement accounting best practices
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with the ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4 years of general accounting experience
- 1 years of public accounting experience is a plus
- Experience in a multi-location/franchise environment is a plus
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage X3, or similar)
- Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
