Transportation Dispatcher

Hotline Delivery System is a leading Logistics, and Warehouse Management company dedicated to delivering quality products and excellent service.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize GPS technologies to optimize routing and scheduling for freight transportation.
• Manage transportation planning and logistics to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
• Operate company transportation management systems.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders using multi-line phone systems, maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
• Analyze data related to shipping and receiving processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate fleet management activities to ensure vehicle readiness and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline shipping processes.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including freight details and delivery schedules.

Experience

• Proven experience in dispatching or a related field within the logistics or transportation industry.
• Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices is preferred.
• Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
• Proficient in using various software applications related to logistics and transportation management, including AS400 systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Air cargo experience is a PLUS!
