Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, carpets, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing to keep all surfaces spotless and well-maintained.
- Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, linens, and supplies to provide guests with a complete experience.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and dining spaces to uphold the hotel’s inviting atmosphere.
- Follow health and safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for quick resolution.
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality, security procedures, and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work within hotels or similar hospitality settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care methods such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or supplies.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and custodial supplies is advantageous.
