What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Houseman position at Hotel Rehoboth?
This is a Full-time (30-40 hours per week) Seasonal position through October 2026
We are seeking a friendly and efficient individual to join our housekeeping team as a Houseman at our family-owned boutique hotel.
Housemen's duties include assisting Housekeeping with stripping rooms, cleaning, removing trash from guest rooms and public spaces, and vacuuming and mopping public spaces throughout the hotel.
Additional duties may be discussed in the interview, based on the applicants' experience, availability, and interest. There may be opportunities to assist with Bellhop service, the Seasonal Beach Shuttle, and to assist Housekeeping with the nightly evening Turndown service.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assisting Housekeeping by stripping rooms
-Assisting Housekeeping by transporting linens and stocking closets
-Maintain Stairwells, Hallways, Lobby, Garage, and all other public areas
- Greet guests and assist them with check-in, check-out, and any other requests.
- Assist with luggage handling and assist guests with special needs.
**Experience:**
We are looking for a Houseman with experience in a hospitality environment or guest service. Prior experience with hotels or housekeeping is highly desirable. Bilingualism or multilingualism is an asset for this role.
This is a Full-Time Seasonal position through October 2026. If a candidate has availability beyond this season, more permanent year-round employment can be discussed in the interview.
This is an hourly position, with a wage to be discussed in the interview.
