Job brief
We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our team. We are specifically looking for a person to work the 2-10pm shift weekends are required.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in ensuring they have a positive and memorable experience during their stay.
We are specifically looking for someone to work weekends to help with the amount of guests we have those nights and then to be a fill in when we need people to help cover. If that's something you are interested please apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Manage reservations via phone, email, and online platforms
- Assign rooms and ensure accuracy in guest preferences
- Provide guests with information on rooms, rates, hotel amenities, and local attractions
- Handle payments, verify credit card information, and process transactions
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and concerns
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean, prepared, and well-stocked
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments (including pass-along notes)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a customer service role (hotel industry preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Positive, service-oriented attitude
- Comfortable using computers and reservation systems
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Degree in hospitality or hotel management is a plus
