Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues promptly to minimize downtime and guest disruption.
- Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to diagnose problems accurately and document maintenance activities.
- Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other hands-on repairs to maintain the property's aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.
- Operate hand tools, electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for complex automation tasks.
- Supervise maintenance projects involving facilities equipment maintenance, residential painting, or building interior upgrades.
- Lead maintenance team efforts by supervising staff, coordinating tasks efficiently, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Communicate effectively with guests and staff regarding maintenance schedules or issues to uphold excellent customer service standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing system repair, HVAC system troubleshooting, and building interior maintenance.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, CMMS software, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters.
- Demonstrated welding skills and experience with carpentry or painting projects preferred.
- Supervisory experience leading a team of technicians or maintenance staff is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical equipment repair, and maintenance of facilities equipment is essential.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and customer interactions.
