Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet care to ensure a pristine appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency
- Follow established safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold quality standards
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to janitorial and industrial cleaning practices
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial roles is highly preferred
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and floor care techniques is advantageous
- Experience in hospitality environments demonstrates an understanding of guest service standards
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and sanitation practices is essential
- Proven ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Housekeeping management experience is a plus for supervisory or training responsibilities
