Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete before they are served to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and address any guest needs or concerns.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including assisting with cooking or plating dishes.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order tracking when necessary.
- Provide excellent guest services by being attentive, friendly, and responsive to customer inquiries.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety protocols is essential.
- Experience in banquet settings or large events is a plus.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience will be beneficial in understanding food preparation processes.
