Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and suggest wine pairings or desserts to enhance the guest experience
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking
- Demonstrated ability in customer service with excellent communication skills and guest relations expertise
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and basic math for accurate check processing
- Experience in serving or hosting roles with a focus on hospitality excellence and guest satisfaction
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus to better understand food preparation processes
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining a positive attitude
