Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and craft beers, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering recommendations and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling with precision.
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with mixology techniques to enhance the menu offerings.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote a safe environment.Experience
- Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktail mixing, beverage recipe development, wine varieties, spirits, brewing processes, and craft beer trends.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively while managing multiple responsibilities seamlessly.
