Job Summary
The Screen Print Press Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of screen printing presses to produce a variety of printed materials, including garments, textiles, signage, and other products. The ideal candidate will have experience with all aspects of the screen printing process, from setup and calibration to printing and inspection.
Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate screen printing presses according to job specifications
- Mix and load inks into the press
- Load and unload garments or other materials to be printed
- Operate the press to print designs onto the materials
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and resolve printing problems
- Perform routine maintenance on presses and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of experience operating screen printing presses required
- Knowledge of the screen printing process, including ink mixing, screen preparation, and printing techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve printing problems
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
