Job Summary
The Hot Chocolate Sparrow is hiring café staff, baristas, counter/register workers, kitchen staff, cooks, and candy-makers.
Full-time and part-time positions are available, with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Pay starts at $17 per hour, plus tips. Experience is helpful, but not required—we provide training.
Responsibilities
- Prepare drinks, food, or candy depending on your assigned position
- Assist customers and process orders accurately
- Keep workstations clean, stocked, and organized
- Follow food-safety and cleanliness standards
- Work cooperatively with coworkers during busy periods
- Complete opening, closing, and other assigned tasks
Qualifications
- Friendly, dependable, and willing to learn
- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Café, barista, kitchen, cooking, candy-making, or customer-service experience is a plus
