Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hospice Director, located in Decatur, AL. The Hospice Director will oversee operations, ensure quality care delivery in compliance with regulatory standards, and lead a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include managing hospice programs, ensuring patient care aligns with organizational values, overseeing professional staff, and partnering with families to provide compassionate end-of-life care.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Hospice Nursing and Hospice Care
- Experience in Palliative Care and End-of-life care practices
- Knowledge and experience in Home Care services
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance and other healthcare standards
- Associates or higher degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Experience in a healthcare management or leadership role preferred
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Alabama preferred
