- Ensure all information entered in Blackbaud and/or Raiser’s Edge software is done according to established protocols.
- Perform constituent data-entry.
- Process all aspects of all philanthropic donations and contributions, including but not limited to, gift entry, production of all acknowledgement letters, gifts linkages (events, proposals, soft crediting) and any follow-up with donors.
- Run weekly gift reports and share with Philanthropy staff to ensure accuracy of gift reporting.
- Coordinate with Finance on daily gift adjustments, monthly reconciliations and providing information requested during the annual audit.
- Ensure appropriate and timely gift acknowledgement to donors.
- Coordinate matching gifts process and other third-party transactions.
- Respond to requests for information regarding donor recognition opportunities or requests for gift history, donation envelopes, etc.
- Assist in producing donor lists as requested for internal and external purposes as needed by staff.
- Utilize research tools to gather pertinent information on key donors and prospects, including articles of interest, and evaluative materials.
- Provide excellent customer services to donors by phone, in writing or in person.
- Participate and assist with Hospice of the Chesapeake signature events.
- Assist with general office operations, including answering telephones and directing calls, greeting guests, process disbursements, check requests, and team meeting support.
- Provide support as requested by the Executive Director

Salary : $43,400 - $55,000
