The Team Lead will report to the Supervisor, Event Processing within Verra Mobility’s Government Solutions division in the Howard County MD office location.

Essential Responsibilities
- Regularly reviews processor performance and then provides needed coaching and training to address gaps.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as informal leader within a team environment.
- Serves as initial point of contact for team members regarding escalations or other issues.
- Responsible for collecting and reporting out on daily metrics.
- Responds to client, customer, and/or internal processing-related inquiries in a professional, thorough, and timely manner.
- Responds to escalated internal inquiries from other departments and resolves as needed.
- Provides feedback and/or suggestions to leadership team on improving operational procedures and processes.
- Partners with outside vendor and subcontractor organizations as needed.
- Diligently works on various internal project assignments as needed.
- Assists Supervisor/Manager with other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Oversees the office and team when supervisor is out of the office.
- Process Events as needed
- A High School Diploma or GED or 2 years relevant working experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead/facilitate meetings
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and act with a sense of urgency to meet assigned deadlines.
- Able to work independently and as a team.
- Able to quickly make sound decisions.
- Professionalism and the ability to work well with different groups of people.
- Exceptional aptitude and flexibility towards serving and assisting others.
- Strong interpersonal, decision-making, organizational and conflict management skills.
- Focus on high quality and strong attention to detail.
- Strong PC skills including basic proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Successful completion of the Nlets fingerprinting background assessment.
- Previous Event Processing experience
