The OpportunityAs the Turnaround & Transformation Specialist, you will serve as both a strategic advisor and hands-on operator—leading financial restructuring efforts, optimizing operational performance, and driving enterprise transformation initiatives.
You will play a critical role in:
- Stabilizing and strengthening financial performance
- Improving operational efficiency across departments
- Establishing scalable systems and processes for long-term growth
- Guiding executive decision-making with data-driven insights
- Lead enterprise-wide turnaround and transformation initiatives
- Develop and execute strategies to improve financial and operational performance
- Partner with executive leadership on organizational strategy and long-term planning
- Evaluate and support strategic opportunities including mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and capital allocation
- Drive cost optimization and working capital improvements
- Establish and enhance financial reporting, controls, and KPI frameworks
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across departments
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve productivity and accountability
- Support organizational restructuring and resource alignment as needed
- Lead and develop finance and accounting teams, including FP&A and revenue cycle
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to align financial and operational goals
- Present financial insights to executive leadership, board members, and stakeholders
- Manage relationships with lenders, auditors, investors, and external partners
- Lead financial and operational stabilization efforts during periods of disruption
- Drive accountability and performance improvement across the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred
- Deep understanding of financial strategy, restructuring, and performance optimization
- 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Proven success in turnaround, restructuring, or transformation environments
- Strong background in healthcare operations, including:
- Revenue cycle management
- Medical billing and payer reimbursement
- Prior experience as a CFO or senior financial executive strongly preferred
- Experience in rural health clinics or outpatient settings is a plus
- Strategic thinker with strong financial and business acumen
- Advanced expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytics
- Ability to lead in high-pressure, rapidly evolving environments
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- High integrity and sound professional judgment
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational change
- Primarily office-based with a mix of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day
- Occasional lifting and movement of light materials
- Fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment
